The hike shows the historical farmhouses in Rofen. Follow the Rofen gorge over the suspension bridge, and through beautiful mountain pastures with a unique flora, the road leads back to Vent.
In Obergurgl upwards with the Hohe Mut Bahn, then the hike leads over highly peaty soil and along the Rotmoos glacier. At the stamping point is a great place to take pictures. Then through the Rotmoos valley floor, you can take a break at the Schönwieshütte. Back to Obergurgl you walk through a forest with 300-year-old pine-tries, the trail ends at Vitalhotel Mühle in Untergurgl.
The trail to the Steinseehütte leads through the wildly romantic valley of the Starkenbach. After 2 to 2.5 hours of climbing over 800 meters you reach the hut, which is framed by the mighty mountains of the Parzinn group (at a height of 2061m).
The Martin Busch hut is located in the heart of the Ötztal valley Alps, at a height of 2501 meters. She equally provides an ideal starting point for mountain tours during the summer, or ski tours during the winter.
The trail to the Winnebachseehütte is a beautiful lonely tour, partly steep and stony but otherwise easily. The hut is located north on Gries, in the Sulztal, in the Stubai Alps in Tyrol in Austria. A crystal clear mountain lake is nestled next to the hut. At a height of 2362 meters you can enjoy the views of the magnificent mountains and a majestic waterfall.
The hike is a roundtrip (in the Oetztal in Tyrol in Austria). In the closed nature sanctury “Obergurgler Zirbenwald”, a 20 hectares great area, are partly stone pines, well over 300 years old.
The “Kaunerberger Wasserweg” has been assuring the irrigation of fields, orchards and gardens at Kauns and Kaunerberg for over 60 years now. The 12 kilometer long irrigation system fetches water from the Gallrutt glacier and leads it via a channel and two tunnels along the mountain slope towards the village Kaunerberg. This hiking trail follows a part of this channel system, including passing the almost 1000 meter long Gallrutt tunnel.
